JGSPL is proud to co-host its Fall symposium with JGSPL is proud to co-host its Fall symposium with the WCL Clinical Program in celebration of its 50th anniversary. The event comprises of an Alumni Reception on the evening of Thursday, October 27th and a full-day symposium on Friday, October 28th. The Fifty and Forward Symposium will feature four themed panels:

Today we’ll be introducing our final E-Board mem Today we’ll be introducing our final E-Board members Niki and Britt. Niki is a 3L from Seattle, WA. At WCL she is involved in the International Refugee Assistance Project. She is interested in Immigration and Refugee Law. When she’s not busy with law school you can find her hanging out with her cat Olive or cooking and baking. 

Next is Britt, a 3L from Knoxville, TN. Britt is interested in employment discrimination law and civil rights. This semester Britt is externing at the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. When she’s not busy with law school related activities you can find her hanging out with her cat or doing yoga.
On Wednesday we introduce E-Board. Today we will b On Wednesday we introduce E-Board. Today we will be introducing two of our Note & Comment Editors Hannah and Alexis. 

Hannah is a rising 3L from  Mechanicsburg,PA interested in  Immigrants rights and womens rights.  Outside of JGSPL she is a Deans Fellow for the Legal Rhetoric Program and a member of the International Refugee Assistance Program. When she’s not busy with law school you can find her hiking or watching related TV. 

Next is Alexis, a  3L from Memphis, TN interested in Civil Rights and Labor and Employment Law. At WCL she is a member of the Black Law Student Association(BLSA) and the Christian Legal Society(CLS). When she’s not busy with law school you can find her watching superhero or SciFi movies and baking.

Happy First Day of Classes! Today we will be intro Happy First Day of Classes! Today we will be introducing our Publications Editors Sabrina and Austin! 

Sabrina is a 3L from Des Moines, IA. She is interested in  criminal law, civil rights and immigration. At WCL she is the Vice President of the Women’s Law Association and a member of the Human Rights Brief. When she’s not busy with JGSPL or her other activities you can find her baking or exploring art museums. 

Next is Austin a 3L from North Little Rock, Arkansas. He is interested in Intellectual Property and spent this past summer interning at Gerben Perrott PLLC. When he’s not busy with JGSPL you can find him reading or listening to music.

She is interested in Reproductive Justice, Family Law, Impact Litigation and Policy. Outside of JGSPL she is a Dean’s Fellow for the Office of Diversity and the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Program, and Co President of the Women of Color Coalition. When she’s not busy with law school activities you can find her going to amusement parks or enjoying brunch.
Happy Monday! Today as part of our E-board introdu Happy Monday! Today as part of our E-board introduction post we’re introducing Sumra, our Senior Articles Editor! Sumra is a rising 3L from Coral Springs, Florida. She’s is interested in Civil Rights and Intellectual Property. Outside of JGSPL she serves as the Vice President of the Muslim Law Student Association and the SBA Director of Diversity Initiatives. She is also on the Moot Court team. When she’s not busy with JGSPL you can find her thrifting or playing trivia.
