We are heartbroken and sickened by the Supreme Cou We are heartbroken and sickened by the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Today, the Supreme Court overruled fifty years of precedent and stated that there is no constitutional right to abortion. The decision today will have devastating impacts on pregnant people of color and other economically marginalized people.

While the majority opinion states that no other substantive due process rights should be impacted by today's decision, some justices on the court have questioned the legitimacy on which some of these rights are based. This includes the right to contraception and marriage equality to name a few.

We want to make abundantly clear that the overruling of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey will not stop abortions. We are grieving, but we will never give up fighting. We will be posting on our story organizations you can donate to, abortion resources, and other legal resources moving forward.
Congratulations to our new Volume Thirty-One Staff Congratulations to our new Volume Thirty-One Staff! We can’t wait to see everything that you will accomplish.
