The Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law Forum was conceived as a space in which the Journal could begin to supplement our print edition with a space for pieces that may not be of the character that would appear in a print edition but do add substantial value to the legal discourse of gender and social policy. The Forum houses pieces, written by practitioners and legal scholars, to facilitate further discussion and education without the delay of publishing procedures. The Forum also consists of a blog section, which is reserved for pieces about cutting-edge legal issues written by our Journal staff members. We hope that the pieces on this Forum inform your discussions, start new ones, and allow readers to think about these issues in new and critical ways.

If you would like to submit a piece to the Forum for consideration, please email The JGSPL staff hopes that you enjoy the expansion of our Journal into the digital space and continuing to contribute to the legal discourse surrounding gender, social policy, and the law.

DISCLAIMER: The views of our Forum and blog writers, as well as the views expressed in Forum and blog pieces, do not reflect the views of the Journal. We encourage our readers to critically engage with our content in order to formulate more informed stances.
